Hold
a CyberKind Conference
We
all love the ‘Net. Facebook, Myspace, You Tube. Sites like these
have become a way of life to so many of us on this planet. And what
would we do without texting? Hotmail? Chatrooms. Wikipedia?
But
the facts are that cyberbullying and abusive comments on the internet
are causing misery to so many – vulnerable youngsters in particular.
That’s why the CyberKind Campaign began. A CyberKind Conference
is the best way to raise awareness of some of the insidious and unkind
behaviour. What are the no-no’s on the net? Flagging unflattering
photos? Nasty comments on your best You Tube production? Been cyber
stalked?
At
AAB we need you to spread the word of this campaign by organising your
own debate and give us the feed back. We need good, up to the minute
gen on how to cope with cyber cruelty. What we learn from your CyberKind
Conference will not only benefit our reserach in to how and why children
are bullied at school as well as help expand this vital campaign before
cyberbullying claims more lives.
